The export of Indian Solar Photovoltaic Products increased by 23 times.

India has shifted its focus from the production of energy through fossil fuels to now forming energy with renewable and clean sources of energy in which solar energy has played a very important role as per India’s geographical location and investment in this project. India has now shifted form being the net importer of solar energy and is now one of the most prominent exporters of the energy; with USA being the most significant market consuming around 97% products exported by India. The data was prepared by the Institute of Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) with the cooperation of JMK Research and Analytics. The reports also claimed that since 2023, the energy export has increased by 23 times producing a revenue of around 2 billion dollars.

India has also set out strategies and deals to become a substitute to the Chinese export in solar energies and rise as a significant exporter of the solar energy on a global level. While India also focuses on forming global markets; the focus is also on the domestic production and utilization of solar energy under the “PM Surya Ghar Yojna” which focuses on every domestic household to have capability to produce their very own green energy.

This utilization will shift the load on fossil fuel import and utilization which will make not only India sustainably developed but also independent in the field of energy production. This shift will also help India’s nature not so polluted. India has set the goal of increasing the 2025 data of 28 gigawatts to increase by 35 gigawatts in 2026.

This strategy comes primarily under the “Make in India” scheme that focuses on forming India independent of foreign products and make India a market that only consumes domestic products. This not only develops the economy but also ensure that the only foreign trade that takes place has India as an exporter and not as an importer to as much extent as possible
