This articles deals with the historical significance and the major importance of the structure of Red fort in the celebration of India’s Independence days each year.

India had achieved its Independence from the 200+ years long British colonization and from any sort of foreign rule and had gained the nature of a democratic state also known as Swarajya. On the 15th August of 1947, India had achieved its Independence and from then on the tradition of celebrating the day had been stated at Red fort. The tradition was started by the first Prime minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru while addressing the nation on the day and announcing to people the Independence from the cruel British rule.

The day is celebrated to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who had been fighting for the cause for centuries. The structure of Red fort stands in the capital city of India – Delhi that had been the ruling capital and significant in the demographic rule of the whole nation and was built by Mughal King Shah Jahan with red sandstone and showcases magnificent Indian architecture style.

The location of Delhi has been shared as the region of variety and diversity of the nation. This year is especially honorable as it celebrates the 80th Independence Day of the nation and also the completion of 150 years of legacy of the National Song “Vande Mataram” making the occasion all too memorable for Indians. The program would be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who shared the vision of holistic development of the nation by the year 2047. The program would also be holding an audience of 2500 cadets and 5000 guests.

This year as well a round of 21 gun salute would be carried out with light 105mm field guns led by Major Pawan Singh at exactly 52 seconds after the hosting of the flag by the Prime minster which would be handled by the 32 officers from army, navy and air force acting as flag personnel. The program stands as the proof of the power of the nation when the population comes together as one and decides their own fate and not be under any sort of chronically evil and unsovereign rule.
