Amidst the rising temperatures of the world, several European countries face excessive heat waves around this time of the year. Counties like Spain, France, and Italy, known for their tourism and architectural importance, are facing temperatures of 40°C and higher, causing a steep decline in tourism rates.

Similarly, various other countries have seen the same level of heat waves, some of them being Germany and Switzerland. A news report of Southern France showcased that 2 children were found dead in the family car, probably due to the rising temperatures. And around 845 schools and educational institutions were closed, the reason being the same.

The main reason for the increase in temperature is linked to the heavily heated waves moving to the European nations from the Sahara Desert. In France alone, an increased number of heat waves have been recorded since 1947, and scientists claim that these waves are causing the temperature to rise to new heights.

The Weather forecast of Spain claims that some areas may in these days face around 44°C of temperature and being heat being “extremely high”. Italy, too, has issued red alerts for heat waves in around 12 of its cities, some being pretty famous, such as Milan and Florence. Firefighters have been continuously working to put an end to the wildfires that have been recorded in various European countries such as Greece.

Though this is not the end, as reports have been made regarding the increase in temperatures of the countries globally. Precautionary methods have been advised to people in an attempt to protect and safeguard life.
