The Himanshu Bhau gang that is active in Delhi NCR area had threatened a hospital owner for “protection money” and on refusal had sent two shooters to kill the said owner.

The Special Task Forces (STF) of Delhi and Haryana had recently come together in an attempt to stop a crime initiated by the Himanshu Bhau gang. The police force had gotten a tip off that the gang is planning on the murder of the owner of RRM hospital, Dr. Narendra Sharma after his refusal to give money to the gang members after their demand for it under the disguise of protection and permission to run the institution. The offenders in this case are the active members of the syndicate.

On receiving the information regarding the planning, the police had appointed Special Tasks Force for the case, who had then barricaded the Bakkarwala area and were checking the vehicles that were passing through. The forces had grown suspicious when a Mahindra Thar had escaped before the checking and taken a different route. The police followed the vehicle which later on collided with a Bolero Pick up at a T point. Upon the arrival of the police, the two shooters are said to have opened fire against the police; in self-defense the police responded with firing and a total of 8 rounds were shot from the two shooters. The two shooters had received injuries in the cross shooting and were soon arrested and shifted to a hospital where their wounds were treated. The police later searched the vehicle and found 2 glock pistols and several other weapons. On further investigation, they found out that the two shooters were residents from different regions of Rohtak, and were Sameer (19 years old) and Kush (17 years old).

The gang has a history of shooting and attempts of shooting at various places including hospitals and even the house of Famous YouTube content creator Elvish Yadav. Recently the activities of the gang have been increasing, causing great distress in the Delhi-Haryana region including Rohtak, Rohini and Gurugram.

The main motive of these seems to be either money extortion or the spread of the gang in various areas leading to Syndicate conspiracies causing such recent cases of shootings. The concerning part of these cases is the amount of teenagers and young adults that have been part of these shootings cases. Among the recent cases, the number of juvenile shooters and criminals had been seen more; the reason might be due to more flexible rules against them. The Delhi and Haryana police stay on high alert in the areas and are making attempts to stop the criminals’ activities.
